A431 crosses over the old trestle on the Sangamon River near Lake Decatur. This bridge once handled both IC & PRR traffic.

An Illinois Central SD70 still in its classic black & white paint scheme, on the point of A431, crosses the diamonds running from Mattoon to Decatur.

Power from A431 is backed into the diesel house for service. In a few hours IC 1036 will take a grain train extra north to Logan County.

Busy day for service at the engine facility. IC 1032 has just brought in mixed freight A431. IC 9564 is working the yard. While BNSF 6191 came in on grain train L550.
